KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Anti-abortion activists are planning an online auction to raise money for the Kansas City man charged with killing Wichita, Kan., abortion doctor George Tiller.

Scott Roeder told The Kansas City Star in a phone interview that he was excited about the auction. He is scheduled to go on trial in January in the May 31 shooting of Tiller.

But the executive vice president of the Feminist Majority Foundation, Kathy Spillar, called the fundraiser deplorable and said it could lead to more violence.

An Army of God manual will be among the items will be sold to the highest bidder. The underground publication for anti-abortion militants describes dozens of ways to shut down clinics, including bombing.

Also for sale will be a prison cookbook compiled by a woman doing time for abortion clinic bombings and arsons.
