BASEHOR, KANSAS -
A 66-year-old Basehor, Kansas man is under arrest for trying to get neighborhood children to perform sex acts. And, police said the man admitted to doing it.
Dorsey Henry Aldridge Jr. has been charged with two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and two counts of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child.
The Basehor Police Department started an investigation after elementary school aged children came forward saying they had been approached by a man who asked them to engage in unlawful sex acts.
Basehor Police Chief Lloyd Martley said Aldridge was interviewed in the days leading up to his arrest and he admitted to the charges.
Aldridge is currently being held in the Leavenworth County Jail awaiting his court appearance on Friday June 26.
