COLUMBIA, ILL -
An Illinois family is celebrating their unique set of puppies. A litter of 21 American bull dogs was delivered from their pet, Daisy Mae.
"We wanted to breed her and have a little of puppies," said Shari Ballard, dog owner.
Daisy Mae delivered her 21 puppies over a 21 hour period six weeks ago. Four of them died during delivery, but the other 17 survived.
The proud papa is a registered bulldog named Groucho, who's owned by a friend of the Ballard family.
The Ballards said they have no intention of breeding Daisy Mae again.
