    • Richard, these sermons are promoting intimacy within marriages. God gave us s-e-x. S-e-x builds relationships and strengthens marriages. That makes God happy. It's very simple. Show up!

    • Where in the book, Song of Solomon, would I find TOYS, an Masturbation? Maybe in other perversions, but not in my KJV.

OLATHE, KAN - You might expect to see the warning for mature audiences at the movies, but not at church. That is unless you're a member of Mercy Church in Olathe, Kan.

"We're challenging you to engage in hanky panky every day in February," preached Pastor Timmy Gibson on Sunday.

That's right, 28 days of the s-word with your spouse.

Pastor Gibson said he's been offering up the February challenge for the last five years.

"I guess sometimes sex is real taboo in church," he said. "We thought it was our responsibility, as a church, to talk about it."

And for the next four Sundays, Pastor Gibson pledges to do that, all in the hope of repairing and re-connecting troubled marriages.

On this first Sunday, he and his wife admit they do sugarcoat sex just a bit. He said that's to help folks feel cozy with the topic, but by the end of the month, look out, it's no holds barred.

"We'll talk about masturbation. We'll talk about toys," Gibson said. "Is it appropriate to have toys ... frequency of sex ... sex and postions."

That's enough to make anyone blush, but church members said they're good with it. In fact, they say they're ready to accept the month-long challenge.

Pastor Gibson said he's got the numbers to prove his message is hitting home.

"About nine to 10 months after our series, we have an onsalught of babies," he said.

Pastor Gibson said the final sex talk with church members will be Feb. 22, and is open to anyone who wants to attend.
