Roeland Park Firefighters were called to the playground of an elementary school after it caught fire on Monday evening.
It happened at Roesland Elementary just after 6 p.m. Fire investigators say they think mulch around the playground equipment caught fire and it quickly spread.
They were able to get it under control shortly after arriving and no injuries were reported.
