GLADSTONE, MO. -
Gladstone Police are looking for a man captured on tape stealing cartons of cigarettes and Mike's Hard Lemonade.
The suspect, captured on surveillance camera, asked the Quik Trip clerk at the 2590 NE 72nd Street store in Gladstone for six cartons of cigarettes. It happened Feb. 25 just after midnight.
Then, he went to the cooler and got a six pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade and came back to the counter.
The clerk asked the suspect for his ID and he said "just give me the cigarettes" as he started to pull out a large knife he had hidden in his jacket or pants.
He was given the cigarettes and then he left with them and the six pack.
Police describe the suspect as a young white male, slender build, wearing a brown jacket and grey knit cap with a brim.
