Northland KFC Closed Over Health Code Violations
KANSAS CITY, MO - A Northland Kentucky Fried Chicken was issued a "cease operations" citation due to a number of health violations, the Kansas City, Missouri, Health Department announced on Tuesday.

According to officials, the walk-in cooler at the restaurant at 7106 NW Prairie View Road was not functioning during an inspection on Monday, and raw chicken and other potentially hazardous food was found to be as warm as 62 degrees. In addition, the restaurant's grease trap was backed-up.

Officials say that all of the food inside the cooler was discarded and destroyed.
