KANSAS CITY, MO -
Kansas City police have released the names of two people who were found dead Sunday in the 5400 block of Ridgeway as Patricia A. Kuder, 73, and her son, Michael Roscher, 53.
Police said it appeared their deaths were the result of a murder/suicide. Investigators said they believe Roscher killed his mother in bathroom and then killed himself in one of the bedrooms.
Officers were called to the residence on a welfare check after no one had heard from Kuder or Roscher for two weeks.
Neighbors said Kuder was a kind woman who was often seen mowing her lawn. Investigators have not released the cause of death or a possible motive.
