Kansas' Brady Morningstar Explains Wacky Foul Shot
AUSTN, Tex. - It was a free throw shot that left a lot of Jayhawk fans scratching their heads. On Monday night against Texas, Brady Morningstar stepped to the line for fouled-out Cole Aldrich and juggled the ball before tossing it up to the hoop.

Morningstar explained the slip-up (literally) to KUSports.com:

"The ball was wet. It slipped on the way up. I was so confused. I could have caught it and came down with it, but I'd have stepped on the line. I tried to shoot a little jump shot so I didn't cross the line," Morningstar said.

The missed shot didn't matter anyway and Kansas went on to defeat Texas, 80-68. KUSports.com reports that even Head Coach Bill Self thought the shot was crazy.

"That'll be an ESPN top 10 for the next six months," Self said with a laugh.
