Larry Johnson's Future With Chiefs Uncertain
Larry Johnson was sidelined after making some rude comments over Twitter and it's still uncertain if he will ever play for the Chiefs again. Johnson's agent, Peter Schaffer, said that Johnson is still a Chiefs player right now.

Johnson is not only appealing his suspension, but also talking about a settlement of some sort that could impact Johnson's future with the team.

After the game against the San Diego Chargers, Johnson used Twitter to send some messages that questioned Coach Todd Haley's qualifications. Johnson also used an anti-gay slur in response to someone on Twitter and then used it again Monday when a reporter asked Johnson for an interview in the locker room.

The NFL then suspended him for two weeks. Johnson's agent will not say whether any settlement would involve Johnson leaving the team.

If the Chiefs choose to release Johnson, they would have to pay out the rest of his 2009 contract, which is about another $2.6 million this year.
