Amanda Remmers
Friends are speaking out about one of the victims killed in Monday's quadruple murder in Kansas City, Kansas. They said that 21-year-old Amanda Remmers was in a physically abusive relationship with the man held as a person of interest in the case.
Adrian Burks, 37, is currently being held on a $2 million cash only bond for assault just hours before Monday's murders. Friends of Remmers say the man attacked was Remmers' ex-boyfriend, Larry Williams. Remmers' friends said the assault happened in the parking lot of an auto parts store just hours before the murders.
James Warren, 66; Peggy Castleberry, 41 and three-year-old Juanita Denea Castleberry Bess were also murdered.
Friends of Remmers said that just last week she was seen with bruises and cuts and often said, "He's going to kill me."
