A Lawrence man's day in Judge Judy's court will be broadcast on FOX 4 on Thursday. Doug Holiday, owner of Bigg's BBQ, was featured on the court show after he brought a small claims court case against a minor who used a fake ID to buy beer.
Holiday was fined $500 last summer for serving the minor, but later learned the minor struck a deal with prosecutors and paid less of a fine than Holiday. The episode airs at 4 p.m. on FOX 4 on Nov. 5.
Holiday is hosting a special watch party with Judge Judy look-alikes and a fake ID amnesty program on Thursday at Bigg's. Holiday will exchange fake IDs with a $10 gift certificate.
