Seasonal flu shots will be offered at 15 locations throughout the greater Kansas City Metropolitan area while supplies last. A widespread shortage of the seasonal flu vaccine has made it difficult to find a seasonal flu shot in recent weeks making this a "Last Chance" opportunity.
The Center for Disease Control estimates that about 36,000 people die each year from the seasonal flu.
The flu shots will be made available to those ages nine and older. Seasonal flu shots will be $28. Pneumonia shots will cost $50. Shot will be available at the following locations while supplies last:
