KANSAS CITY, Mo. -
Police have busted up a suspected meth lab, but this isn't the first time they've been to the home. Police said the man in custody is a repeat offender and police raided the same home on November 2 after a tip about a working meth lab.
The Street Crimes Unit from Kansas City served a warrant at 50th and Lister just before midnight.
On Thursday night, police said he had just finished cooking meth earlier in the evening before they arrived on the scene. He was taken into custody without incident.
Because meth labs can be dangerous, everyone wore protective clothing and the suspect had to be decontaminated by firefighters before going downtown.
