Mohler Sr. is the father of Mohler Jr. and Jared. Mohler Sr.'s other children Roland Mohler and David Mohler have also been charged with several felonies against the Mohler family children, including forcible sodomy, rape with a child younger than 12 and use of a child in a sexual performance. Mohler Sr.'s brother, Darrel Mohler, 72, of Silver Springs Fla. is also accused of raping two of his young female relatives, aged five and six at the time, during a sleep over at a home near their grandfather's house in 1987.

Also on Thursday, a search warrant and affidavit released from Boone County said the mother of the victims was made aware of the alleged offenses, but that she took her concerns to their church leader rather than police at the time of the alleged incestuous rapes that occurred in the 1980s and 90s.

"At the time, complaints by the mother were taken to the head of the church rather than law enforcement," the documents said. "No official investigations was completed at the time."

The mother is reportedly cooperating with the current investigation.
