KANSAS CITY, MO -
A metro author with more than 26 years of experience has written a book that'd described as a no-nonsense, easy-to-understand reference guide for parents looking for the right daycare provider. On Saturday, the family of the child who died while in Jeanette Lawrence's care released the following statement:
"The Patrick's feel this is Ms. Lawrence's way of turning a book that was negative publicty for her into a positive. By Ms. Lawrence dedicating the book to our daughter, we feel she is trying to get a sympathetic reaction from the public. Ms. Lawrence has not asked us permission to dedicate this book to our daughter, nor has she contacted us about the funds being donated to a charity we are in the process of starting."
