Police Issue Alert After Mom Disappears with Son
LAURIE, MO - Police in Lafayette County have issued an Endangered Person Advisory after a young boy was allegedly taken by his non-custodial mother early Friday morning.

According to authorities, Chance Storm-Ellis, 7, was last seen in Laurie, Missouri, in a maroon 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser with Missouri license plates HA5J8J. He is described as white, height 42", 70 lbs, blond hair, blue eyes, fair complexion, with no physical marks, wearing black tee shirt and black shorts.

The boy's mother, Kim I Ellis, is described as white, age 42, height 5'7", 130 lbs, blond hair, hazel eyes, fair complexion, wearing unknown clothing. According to authorities, the woman, who does not have legal custody of the boy, is suffering from psychosis and depression, and has a history of suicide attempts.

Anyone seeing the missing person, suspect, associate, or vehicle, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 911, or contact the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department at (660) 259-3622.
