Police in Johnson County are on the lookout for a man who enticed a teen girl into his car as she was walking to school.
Authorities say that the incident occurred on Tuesday morning around 8 a.m. around the area of Johnson Drive and Broadmoor.
According to police, a white car kept pulling into parking lots behind the victim as she walked to school. She stopped and sat on a bench in the area of Johnson Dr. and Broadmoor and the white car pulled up next to her and the driver asked if she wanted a ride. Police say that the victim then got into the car with the stranger. The man was familiar with the fact that it was a "late start" day for the school and so he told her that they would just drive around. He then drove her past the school and continued on Johnson Dr. to Merriam Dr. He then turned and went south on Merriam Dr. and went to Aristocrat Motors and drove around the parking lot. While in the lot he asked if she had ever riden in a BMW. He drove to Antioch Park and stopped and talked for a short while.
While driving to these various locations he kept asking her if she had ever had sex before.
The suspect then dropped the victim off at Shawnee Mission Pkwy and Foster so she could go to school. The suspect told the victim that he often takes his lunch break at the QuickTrip on Shawnee Mission Pkwy and Foster.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40's with sandy brown hair and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a tan shirt and jeans.
